LGBT For Hillary - New Hope PRIDE
Today was a historic day for the LGBT For Hillary community. For the first time, as part of the New Hope PRIDE Parade, Hillary Clinton's campaign volunteers marched across state lines from Lambertville, NJ, into New Hope, Pennsylvania.
Last week, I reached out to one of my favorite new friends, Jennifer McCann, about possible upcoming Hillary events in the NYC area. She happily responded that she was hosting a PRIDE event in the beautiful towns of Lambertville and New Hope, and I would be a great addition to the team. So, I rallied an awesome Hillary outfit decked-out in swag, created a grassroots "Madam President" sign, and set my alarm clock for 7:00am this morning. I arrived in Lambertville, NJ, at 10:55am. Upon exiting the bus, I spotted three women in Hillary t-shirts who greeted me, "You must be Kristen! Jennifer told us all about you." It was smiles all day long.
