Fall Meet-Up With Home/Made
Babes For Hillary kicked off the home-stretch for this grueling election season with a beautiful meet-up last night. Our hosts Monica and Leisah are not only passionate about electing Hillary, but are hands on when it comes to showing their support. We can't thank them enough for bringing us this evening- THANK YOU! We enjoyed drinks and homemade snacks and cheeses, had a Babes For Hillary Q&A group discussion (coming soon the the blog!), posed for photos with a larger-than-life Hillary mask, celebrated Hillary with a show-stopping cake by Jennifer Houston, and danced to Pussy Grabs Back (Thank you Leisah!) And a friendly reminder to those who would like to donate some money to Hillary's campaign, click here.
It has been wonderful teaming up with my old friends Monica and Leisah during this election year. These women are entrepreneurs and own and operate two gorgeous venues in Red Hook, Brooklyn. We met Atleier Roquette during the DNC view party and now Home/Made for our meet-up. Home/Made is their newly re-opened cafe since it was destroyed during Hurricane Sandy four years ago. They built it back up to be fully operating as it once had. Defiantly join them for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner the food is incredible. I truly hope Hillary will learn about their hard work and visit for breakfast someday.
Thank you for viewing our slideshow. We are wishing you all of the strength in the world during these 25 days leading up to election day. We are so excited to make history with Hillary when we elect her as not only our first female President, but our most qualified in U.S. history.
