Hillary Clinton Brigade Visits Hillary In Chappaqua, NY
The Hillary Clinton Brigade made our way up to Chappagua, NY for another Hillary Rodham Clinton What Happened book signing. Upon arrival, we were greeted by our dear friend Jennifer McCann, who had Onward Together signs. We posed for photos and hugged a bunch. Jennifer is a ray of warmth and positivity, and embodies the core values that were the Hillary Clinton Campaign: Love and Kindness.
The lined snaked around the shelves of the Chappaqua Library. Our group was in the "Mystery" section, and we all agreed that Hillary have spent time there.
Huma Abedin was kind and took photos with us. She and I chatted about the memorable New York Fashion Week fundraiser in 2016 that showcased Hillary's "Made For History" collection. She proudly gave credit to Anna Wintour for making it so special and commented on my personal style, too. It was really nice to officially meet her.
Once we made our way into the room where Hillary was signing books, we were overcome with joy. It was delightful to watch everyone's reaction who came in after us. When it was my turn to speak with Hillary, she asked me about my earrings. "Are those peace-sign tables?" They must have looked quite strange, I admit.
"Hillary these are the pizza-savers from the boxes of pizza you sent to us at Barnes & Noble! Did you know that a woman invented the pizza saver?" I smiled.
Hillary let out a booming laugh and put her head down to the table. "WOW! We need this kind of creativity right now." She laughed and posed for a photo. Everyone within earshot was smiling, which felt really good.
The Brigade had a meal together in town and then headed back to the city. It was a very special day.
