1000 Pantsuits For Hillary
Babes For Hillary attended the Night of 1000 Pantsuits last night at Hudson Terrace in New York City in support of Hillary For America. It was truly an LGBT For Hillary effort, which has been one of the Babes' main focuses during this election. We attended and photographed two Hillary Happy Hours events in Hell's Kitchen, we walked in two PRIDE parades in three states, we attended a fundraiser with Hillary speaking directly to the LGBT community at Capital in NYC, we hosted a PRIDE meet-up in Brooklyn, and we joined the world in mourning the LGBT losses in Orlando. At the end of the day, protecting gay, lesbian, tran and human rights is something that Hillary has pledged to do when she is president. She has already demonstrated that she is committed to helping people reach their full potential, people all over the world. And for this we are grateful for her.
Last night's celebration hosted by Miss Cherry Grove 2016 Tina Burner was epic. She had the room in hysterics and taught us some new words. Co-Organizer Kindra Meyer gave a moving speech. Prince Powderpouffe wore a H-Logo victorian wig. There was a loaded silent auction (I hope I won the autographed Captain America comic book!) There were drag and burlesque performances by some of New York's most talented artists, and a Hillary look-a-like contest with charming judges. What an incredible night of dancing, friends, and Hillary!
